Your Bhutan adventure begins as you touch down at Paro, one of the country's key entry points. Upon arrival, the customs and immigration process is relatively straightforward; however, remember to keep your visa clearance letter handy, although passport-sized photos are no longer required, as the visa fees have been taken care of in your tour package.

You'll receive a warm welcome from your guide and driver just outside the terminal building. From Paro, a scenic drive will take you to Thimphu, Bhutan's charming capital city. In the evening, you'll have leisure time to explore Thimphu, soaking in the local atmosphere.
