The Langtang Helambu trekking via Ganjala Pass adventure classic starts from Dhunche, 117 Kilometers from Kathmandu, a distance of 6 hrs drive. Trekking throughout nature, encounter local interact with local people in Langtang and Helambu valleys. The people inhabiting the region are Tamang in the Langtang region and Helmo Sherpa in the Helambu region. Experience being in the wild, moraines, grassy fields with yaks and horses grazing without noticing you. We also the camp where are no settlements for three days; hence camping gear and basic mountaineering knowledge are needed for this trekking. Trekking through the Langtang & Helambu Valley takes you very close to Tibet. We pass through forests inhabited by some rare animals like rare red pandas, deer, bears, blue sheep, mountain Thar, languor, and many wild animals. The dense forest protects us from a hard enough sun. If you have botanical inclinations, this trek might be an exciting adventure. Some wild berries areas are Myrica esculent, called Kafal locally, and Rubus ellipticus, also known as Aiselu. Locals pick up these berries while in the jungle. Nowadays, these wild berries are also used to make locally produced International standard wines. From Syabrubesi in tropical vegetation at 1450m, it ends near the border with Tibet. Climb the Ganja La at an altitude of 5130m meters for breathtaking views of the surrounding mountains. Helambu Valley is famous for its natural beauty and fantastic weather, with magnificent views of the snow-capped mountains. While the Tamang people inhabit the Langtang region, the Helambu area covers typical Sherpa mountain villages and beautiful rhododendron forests.

Upon your arrival in Kathmandu, you will be greeted at the airport and transferred to your hotel. You can rest and relax, and depending on your arrival time, you may have the opportunity to explore some parts of Kathmandu.
This day is dedicated to final preparations for your trek. You can obtain any necessary permits, rent or purchase any required trekking equipment, and meet with your trekking guide to discuss the details of the journey. You may also have some free time to explore Kathmandu further.
After breakfast, you start your journey by driving from Kathmandu to Dhunche. The drive takes approximately 5-6 hours, and along the way, you can enjoy the scenic views of the Nepalese countryside. Dhunche is situated at an altitude of 1950 meters and serves as a gateway to the Langtang region.
Leaving Dhunche behind, you begin your trek toward Thulo Syabru. The trail gradually ascends, passing through lush forests and traditional Tamang villages. Thulo Syabru is located at an altitude of 2210 meters and offers panoramic views of the surrounding mountains.
On this day, you continue your trek from Thulo Syabru to Lama Hotel. The trail takes you through dense forests of rhododendron and bamboo, with occasional glimpses of the Langtang range. Lama Hotel, situated at an altitude of 2410 meters, is a popular stop for trekkers.
You trek from Lama Hotel to Langtang Village, gradually ascending through forests and crossing suspension bridges. Along the way, you'll encounter the rich culture of the local Tamang people and enjoy the breathtaking beauty of the Langtang region. Langtang Village is located at an altitude of 3330 meters.
Leaving Langtang Village, you trek to Kyanjin Gompa. The trail offers stunning views of the surrounding peaks and glaciers. Kyanjin Gompa, situated at 3730 meters, is a beautiful village with a famous monastery and a cheese factory.
On this day, you hike from Kyanjin Gompa to Nyengang. The trail takes you to higher altitudes, offering breathtaking views of the Langtang range. Nyengang is located at an altitude of 4430 meters and serves as a great vantage point for mountain views.
Continuing your trek, you head from Nyengang to Keldang via Gonjala Pass. The pass is at an elevation of 5130 meters and offers panoramic views of the Langtang range. After crossing the pass, you descend to Keldang, situated at an altitude of 4270 meters.
Leaving Keldang, you trek to Dhukpu. The trail takes you through high-altitude landscapes, including alpine meadows and rocky terrain. Dhukpu, situated at 4040 meters, provides stunning views of the surrounding mountains.
On this day, you descend from Dhukpu to Tarkeghyang. The trail takes you through dense forests and traditional Tamang villages, allowing you to experience the local culture. Tarkeghyang is located at an altitude of 2770 meters and is known for its Buddhist monasteries.
Continuing your trek, you head from Tarkeghyang to Sermanthang. The trail offers scenic views of the Himalayas and passes through beautiful landscapes. Sermanthang, situated at an altitude of 2590 meters, is a picturesque village known for its apple orchards.
Leaving Sermanthang, you trek to Melamchi Bazar. The trail takes you through terraced fields, forests, and small settlements. Melamchi Bazar, situated at an altitude of 870 meters, is a bustling town in the Helambu region.
On the final day of your trek, you take a scenic bus ride from Melamchi Bazar back to Kathmandu. The journey takes approximately 5 hours, and once you reach Kathmandu, you can rest and relax or explore the city at your leisure.
