Itinerary

 

Upon your arrival in Paro, complete the necessary customs and immigration procedures. Ensure that you have your visa clearance letter readily available. Meet your guide and driver outside the airport terminal, who will assist you in transferring to Thimphu. During the day, you will have the opportunity to visit Buddha Point and Memorable Choden. If there is available time, you can take a leisurely evening stroll through the city. Your overnight accommodation will be at a hotel in Thimphu.

In the morning, commence a sightseeing tour that includes visits to the Traditional School of Arts & Crafts and Tashicho Dzong. You will also have the chance to explore the Mini Zoo. Subsequently, you will drive to Punakha, where you will visit Punakha Dzong. This historic fortress, dating back to 1637, is the second oldest in Bhutan and is located amidst the convergence of the Male and Female rivers. It was constructed under the spiritual leadership of Zhabdrung Ngawang Namgyel. Additionally, you will explore Chime Lhakhang. Your overnight stay will be at a hotel in Punakha.

Start the day with breakfast and then embark on a roughly 4-hour hike to the renowned Tiger's Nest Monastery. Following the hike, you have the option to visit Kichu Lhakhang, the National Museum, and a traditional farmhouse. You will spend the night at a hotel in Paro.
