The Nepal Tourism Board (NTB), in collaboration with the Ministry of Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation, has officially called on Nepali travel content creators, videographers, and photographers to help showcase Nepal to the global stage.
If you produce travel-focused videos, photography, or visual stories, this campaign offers sponsored travel trips across Nepal to selected creators to highlight the country’s high Himalayas, hidden valleys, living heritage, and local communities.
Eligibility Criteria: Who Can Apply?
To ensure the campaign achieves real digital reach and quality, the Nepal Tourism Board has outlined specific minimum requirements for applicants:
- Nationality: Must be a Nepali social media profile / creator.
- Audience Size: Must have a minimum of 3,000 followers on your social media platform (such as Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, or Facebook).
- Track Record: Must have previously created and published travel-related content.
What the Campaign Focuses On
The initiative aims to move beyond generic sightseeing clips and spotlight the deep, diverse character of Nepal:
- Himalayan Adventures: High-altitude trekking routes, mountaineering, and rugged trails.
- Hidden & Lesser-Known Gems: Unexplored valleys, quiet settlements, and emerging off-the-beaten-path destinations.
- Living Culture & Heritage: Traditional rituals, indigenous customs, festivals, and architectural landmarks.
- Local Life & Warmth: Authentic homestays, mountain hospitality, and community interactions.
